This year 2022 is part of a new 3-year cycle: The Odyssey of matter, fusion & metamorphosis, metal.
2022 has also been proclaimed the International Year of Glass by the United Nations. We then imagined how these two materials could metamorphose before your eyes and merge with each other. Fire is essential to our creations. It complements and extends our desires for expression by its ability to create a change of form. Marvel, feast, escape, warm up, Meet the artisans so that they can tell you about their passion for beauty...

TERRA ANIMALIS
The
2022 event proposes to take a look at the different representations of
animal life interpreted by our invited ceramists: realistic or
imaginary, mythological or humorous animals, but also the humanised
animal, considered as our brother, or the one going back far in the
origins of life and approaching cave art.
As the first subject of
art, still under study, the animal represented bears witness to the long
and distant relationship that unites it with man, in multiple artistic
expressions and numerous cultures.
We look forward to welcoming you to this new edition, which will once again offer you a warm encounter with today's ceramics.

While everywhere in France there are many Potters Markets, the Parisian offer is rare, what exists cannot satisfy all requests. A city like Paris largely justified the creation of this small market, which stands out for its financial accessibility for potters, high quality and a conviviality that befits street entertainment.
In the garden of l'Articerie, 12 exhibitors in the field of creation, art and crafts (other than the creators and artists already presented in the shop) are solicited to come and present and make discover their work to visitors. It is a real festival very friendly and joyful.

This is news that we did not want to announce, but we are forced to cancel the 2021 edition of the Basque Country ceramic market. The conditions of application of the health protocol set by the government do not allow us to organize our 27th edition serenely.
As you know, the Basque Country ceramic market is an unmissable event for ceramics and crafts in the Basque Country. For 27 years, we have always wanted to offer everyone: curious, passionate and professionals of ceramics, free access to art, crafts and creation. The implementation of a control of the access of people to the market seems to us difficult to accept and to do.
In addition to the difficulty of implementing this protocol, it is the spirit of free access to creation and free movement on the market that is called into question. We wanted to organize this event for everyone, without any judgment on vaccination and respecting everyone's free will. Unfortunately, the introduction of the health pass no longer makes it possible to offer these conditions ...
Because we do not want to deny access to anyone, we have taken the hard decision to cancel this 27th edition of the Basque Country Ceramic Market.
We are counting on your understanding while we wait to see you again next year!
Take care of yourself and your freedoms!
