This is news that we did not want to announce, but we are forced to cancel the 2021 edition of the Basque Country ceramic market. The conditions of application of the health protocol set by the government do not allow us to organize our 27th edition serenely.

As you know, the Basque Country ceramic market is an unmissable event for ceramics and crafts in the Basque Country. For 27 years, we have always wanted to offer everyone: curious, passionate and professionals of ceramics, free access to art, crafts and creation. The implementation of a control of the access of people to the market seems to us difficult to accept and to do.

Outre la difficulté de mise en place de ce protocole, c’est l’esprit de libre accès à la création et de libre circulation sur le marché qui est remis en cause. Nous tenions à organiser cet évènement pour tous, sans jugement aucun sur la vaccination et en respectant le libre arbitre de chacun. Malheureusement, l’instauration du pass sanitaire ne permet plus d’offrir ces conditions…

Because we do not want to deny access to anyone, we have taken the hard decision to cancel this 27th edition of the Basque Country Ceramic Market.
